How do I order a shirt/sweater/romper/fabric...?

There are 2 ways to order:
1. Buy directly from the webshop.
2. Send us an email through the contact form.


What If I want more than 1 item?

Go ahead and buy as many items as you wish, directly from the webshop! The shipping rates will automatically be adapted to the weight of the items.


What if I want to order something, that I can't find on the webshop?

Do you have an original idea, or do you want to customize one of our existing designs? Do you want a different size or colour? Or do you want a kid's design made into an adult size? No worries! Almost everything is possible, with the Obvious exception of copyrighted items. Contact us through the contact form and we will get back to you withing 24h.


How do I order a personalized item?

When ordering a personalized item, you will have to add the name you wish to include in the design.

Once the order is placed, you will receive a proof from us, that has to be approved, before the item will be produced.

Why do I receive a proof?

When ordering a personalized item, you will receive a proof from us by email, with the chosen shirt, sweater, romper,... in the correct colour, with the chosen design and name. This proof needs to be approved before we produce your item. We believe this is an important process, to make sure, you only receive correctly spelled names and the exact designs you want.




How can I pay my order?

Your order can be payed by Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, American Express, Apple Pay, Sezzle, iDeal and Bancontact. If you would like to do a bank transfer, please contact us through the contact form to set this up.



Cancellations and returns

Can I cancel my order?

We hope you absolutely love our items and that you will never have to cancel any orders. But we know things happen... You can cancel your order up until 24h after your order. For any cancelations after this time, you will be charged an administrative fee of €7,50.


How can I return my items?

We sincerely hope that you are always happy with your purchase. But we understand that you might wish to return your items. Please contact us through the contact form within 5 days after receiving the items. Returned shipping will be charged to the buyer. 
Personalized items cannot be returned. Make sure you check the proof you received carefully. Once it had been approved, KMLeon is no longer responsible for any spelling or other errors in the final item.

Following items cannot be returned:
-Items that have been worn, washed or ironed.
-Personalized items (including fabric).
-Damaged items (excl. shipping damage).


All items are protected against external factors (bad weather, rough handling during shipping) by a plastic bag (inside the primary packaging), which is then reusable!



When will I be refunded when I return an item?

You can only be refunded if the item if shipped back and received by us. Once this part is done, we will refund you (item cost, not shipping cost), within 5 business days. Depending on which payment method you have chosen, funds may only be available within 10 business days after a refund.

Shipping costs will never be refunded.




How are my items shipped?

All items, except for fabrics are shipped with PostNL or Bpost Belgium, to the address of your choice. We ship internationally.

Single and/or small items are shipped in an enveloppe.  Larger orders or multiple items are shipped in a recycled (clean) cardboard box. 

Fabrics are shipped directly from our partner in Croatia, via courier. A link with the track and trace code will be sent to the email address you use to place your order.


When will my items be shipped?

When you place your order, we will first make a proof (for personalized items). This proof needs to be approved by you. The sooner the proof has been approved, the sooner we will be able to produce your items.

Once approved, your item will be produced within 3-5 business days. Once finished, you will receive an email, confirming that your item is shipped.

Fabrics have a production time of 5-7 business days. Once finished, you will receive an email with your track and trace code.


How much does shipping cost?

The cost of shipping depends on the weight and the number of items you purchase and will be calculated when you check out.

Shipping is free for orders over €50, except for fabrics, they never ship free, as they are being shipped by our partner in Croatia.


How long does it take for my items to arrive?

These delivery times do not include processing times needed to produce items.

Delivery to Belgium takes around 1-3 business days.

Delivery to Europe takes around 3-7 business days.

Delivery to the US and the rest of the world takes around 7-20 business days.

Please take these delivery times in consideration when ordering.

These delivery times are indications, and are subject to unforeseen circumstances (weather, strikes,...).



Lost packages

My package didn't arrive, what do I do?

All items are shipped from Belgium. International shipping can take up to 20 business days. If after that time, your package still did not arrive, please contact us through the contact form, so that we can check what we can do.



Damaged package

My package was damaged in transport, what do I do?

Our items are always packed with a lot of care, to minimise the risk of them being damaged during transport. Unfortunately, there is always the possibility that something goes wrong during transport. When you receive a damaged package, we ask you to contact us within 2 days, through the contact form. We will need pictures of the damages, for the purpose of filing a claim with the postal services. We will not be able to refund if there are no pictures available.



Care instructions for clothing items

How do I wash my item?

Make sure you follow these care instructions for all of our items, so that they (or the prints) will not be damaged:

1. Wash your item inside out.
2. Wash by hand or machine wash at 30° C max.
3. Use a mild detergent.
4. Never use bleach.


How do I dry my item?

1. Do not tumble dry your item.
2. Line dry your wet item, until completely dry.
3. Do not wring your item.


How do I iron my item?

1. Iron your item inside out, never directly onto the print.
2. Iron on medium heat.
3. Do not use steam.



Care instructions for fabric

When you receive your fabric, you should always wash your fabric, to prevent it from shrinking once it has been cut and sewn.

Make sure to wash your fabric (preferably in a washing net, to prevent discoloration from abrasion in the washing machine). Use a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry your fabric, but hang it open to dry.

Once your fabric is washed and dried, make sure to iron it (on the reverse side of the print), so that, when you cut it, the fabric will be nice and flat.

After cutting and sewing, keep washing and drying your finished piece the same way. This will keep the colours of your print vibrant for as long as possible.



Damaged print

The print of my shirt is detached, what do I do?

The prints are applied with very high temperatures onto the textiles. Next to that, we perform very rigorous checks, to make sure all prints are perfectly attached to your item.

If, after not following care instructions, the print does come loose, we advise you to iron on the back of the shirt, sweater or romper, after repositioning the print correctly. Do not use steam.



Production and used materials

How is my item made?

90% or our items are made of 100% organic, fairtrade cotton.

Once your order is placed (and if necessary, the proof has been approved), we carefully cut the chosen and approved design in the correct colors. This is then pressed on high temperature onto the chosen item. Both of these processes need to be performed with care, accuracy and lots of love, to make sure you are happy with your item!

When fabrics are purchased, we place your order with our partner in Croatia, who prints your fabric with ecologically friendly water-based dyes and biodegradable inks which are non-hazardous, toxin-free, and certified with an OEKO-TEX Eco Passport.


Why organic cotton?

Most of our items are made of 100% organic, fairtrade cotton. They are produced in good working conditions, in a process that is eco-friendly, while taking care of biodiversity, local environments and global climate.

Why you ask? Because we care about people and we care about the environment. We want to make organic fashion accessible to everyone and do our little part to make this a better planet.

And with our awesome designs? Organic never looked this good!



Gift cards

How do I purchase a gift card?

Go to the 'Gift card' section of the website: and choose the desired amount. This will be the amount that will be added to the gift card. The amount is between €10 and €250. Choose the amount of gift cards you would like to purchase. If you purchase, for example, 2 cards of €10, you will have a total amount of €20, divided between 2 cards.

Click 'Add to cart' and continue shopping or complete your purchase.

Once you have purchased your gift card, you will receive it by email (PDF). It will contain the chosen amount and a unique discount code. From there, you can print it or forward it to the recipient. They can enter the discount code when checking out.

The amount on the card does not have to be used at once, but should be used before the end date.

All gift cards are valid for 1 year.

Which amount do i have left on my gift card?

If you are uncertain of how much is left on your gift card, send us an email ( or contact us on through the contact form and we will let you know the remaining amount as quickly as possible (within 24h).



Colours and sizes of clothing items

Which sizes are available?

All available sizes are indicated in the description of every item. A size table is available in the picture section of every listing.

Measurements can vary. Please take a 5% tolerance in consideration.

To determine the correct size, take your favorite shirt, lay it flat, and measure it from one side to the other. Take the measurement that is closest to the ones indicated here. If you fall between sizes, choose the largest size.

All available colours are indicated in the description of every item. An overview of the colours is available in the picture section of every listing.

Please note that, although every effort is made to photograph items accurately and describe all items in detail, it cannot be garantueed that every computer monitor will accurately depict the actual colour of the item.

My name is Lisa, the very qualified boss, designer, social media manager, heat press operator and coffee lady (and many, many more tasks) of KMLeon. I am a thirty-someting with a love for fashion, handmade items and quirky designs. Born and raised in the beautiful Belgium


Where is KMLeon located?

We are located here, on this very website! We don't have a physical location, but if you would like to come and pick up your purchase, contact us to make an apointment.
